Dr. Farida Hazwani Mohd Ridzuan is an Associate Professor at the Information Security and Assurance Programme in the Faculty of Science and Technology, USIM. She has been awarded a Ph.D. from Curtin University, Western Australia, M.Sc. from the University of Essex, UK, and Bachelor’s Degree from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Her interest in Steganography, Algorithms, Ontology, Optimization, and Problems Modelling research areas. Farida has published various scholarly articles on computer security in International journals. She has reviewed numerous articles and books and successfully supervised several postgraduate students throughout her career. She has been teaching on programming related subjects since 2013 such as Data Structures and Algorithms using Java, Assembly Language and JAVA programming.
